 教案名称:六年级英语上册 Unit 1 Lesson 1《What's he like?》

一、教学目标:  

1. 学生能听、说、认、读本节课的新词汇:kind,polite,friendly,quiet,noisy,thoughtful。  

2. 学生能用所学词汇描述人的性格特点。  

3. 学生能熟练运用句型:“What's he/she like?”、“He/She is kind/polite/friendly/quiet/noisy/thoughtful.”进行问答。  

4. 培养学生观察、思考、合作的能力。

二、教学重点与难点:  

1. 重点:新词汇的认读、句型的运用。  

2. 难点:如何用英语描述人的性格特点。

三、教学步骤:  

1. 热身活动(Warm-up):  

   1) Greet the students.  

   2) Play a game: Guessing game. Show the students pictures of different people and ask them to guess their personalities based on the pictures.

2. 新课导入(New lesson introduction):  

   1) Show the students pictures of different people and ask them to describe the people's personalities using the words from the lesson.  

   2) Teach the new vocabulary: kind, polite, friendly, quiet, noisy, thoughtful.  

   3) Practice the vocabulary with the students.

3. 句型训练(Sentence pattern practice):  

   1) Divide the students into groups.  

   2) Give each group a sheet with pictures of different people.  

   3) Ask the students to practice the sentence pattern:“What's he/she like?”,“He/She is kind/polite/friendly/quiet/noisy/thoughtful.”

4. 情景对话(Scene dialogue):  

   1) Create a dialogue between two students about a new classmate.  

   2) Ask the students to practice the dialogue in pairs.

5. 综合运用(Application):  

   1) Give each student a sheet with a picture of a famous person.  

   2) Ask the students to write a description of the person's personality using the words and sentence pattern from the lesson.

6. 课后作业(Homework):  

   1) Write a letter to a pen pal describing their personality using the words and sentence pattern from the lesson.

四、教学反思(Reflection):  

在本节课的教学过程中,要注意观察学生的反应,根据学生的实际情况调整教学进度。同时,要关注学生的发音,纠正发音错误,帮助他们掌握正确的语音。通过本节课的学习,希望学生能够熟练运用所学词汇和句型描述人的性格特点,提高他们的英语表达能力。
